Délices du Chef Celebrates One Year in Torrance with a Sold-Out Anniversary Dinner

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, Délices du Chef celebrated its first anniversary with a cozy, sold-out dinner at its Torrance restaurant. Guests gathered for an intimate evening filled with French flavors, warm hospitality, and community spirit — a fitting reflection of the bistro’s first successful year in Los Angeles.

The celebration featured a prix fixe dinner that showcased the signature style and craftsmanship that have made Délices du Chef a local favorite. The evening began with an elegant amuse bouche — a porcini mushroom cappuccino served with hazelnut toast — setting the tone for a night of refined yet comforting French cuisine.

Each guest enjoyed a tasting of four appetizers, highlighting a balance of freshness and flavor:

• Burrata with balsamic glaze and heirloom tomatoes

• Smoked salmon canapé with dill cream and caviar

• Oyster with lemon pearl, granny smith apples, and Fresno chili oil

• Beef tartare with espelette dressing and Comté chips

  
  

For the entrée, the kitchen prepared a rich and traditional Cassoulet “Toulouse Style”, slow-cooked to perfection and bursting with depth and flavor — a true homage to the heart of French comfort food.

Guests ended the evening with their choice of dessert, each one a housemade masterpiece — from the delicate Paris-Brest and Lemon Meringue Tart to the Raspberry Cake and decadent Chocolate Cake.
